On all places where we measured noise and QRM, we saw a direct relationship with 230V mains power network. The more 230V cables we have in the neighborhood of the antenna, the more noise we experience. So to get the best result for Maasbree, we put the antenna about  a 70meters away from the mains power network. At the north and west side of the antenna, we have a few 100meters of free land (patatoos,...).
